Mildred M. (Rice) Smith 97 of Plainfield, Indiana passed away November 27, 2024. Mildred was born on January 15, 1927, in Versailles, Kentucky to Amos and Edna (Reeves) Rice. Mildred retired from RCA after 37 years of service. Mildred was a member of the Church of the Master, and she was also a 69 year member of the Lynhurst Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 505. Calling will be held on Monday December 02, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park Funeral Center with an O.E.S. service at 2 pm followed by the funeral service approximately 2:15 pm. Entombment will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to www.FightBackFitness.org Mildred is survived by her daughter; Susan Marsh and her son; David (Margaret) Smith, son-in-law; Tim Holland, nine grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, and 24 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
