Mildred Smith Obituary
She married Everand C. Smith Sr. on September 22, 1951, and together they raised one son.
Mildred worked at the Foundry in Springfield for many years. She also worked at Carey's Market, then the First National Store. She went on to work for Young's Furniture Store until she retired around 1994.
She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, and watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds.
She is survived by her son Everand C. (Carlene) Smith Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Everand Sr., brothers Ervin, Clifford and Leon Snide and her sisters Thelma Graham, Shirley Johnson, Doris Clark, Violet Johnson, Laura Robertson and Alice Monroe.
A graveside funeral service will be held in the spring.
Davis Memorial Chapel is assisting with the arrangements.
