Mildred Stone Obituary

STONE, Mildred Simpkins, formerly of Bruington, Va., 90, passed away November 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stone; and son, Kenneth Stone. She is survived by her children, William G. "Sonny" Stone (Joanie), Phyllis Ryan (Freddie), H. Thomas "Tommy" Stone (Rose Mary), Deborah Wall (Jimmy); 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by brothers, Benjamin Simpkins and Joseph Simpkins (Grace). The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, at B.W. White Funeral Home in Aylett, Va. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, at B.W. White Funeral Home, followed by a brief graveside service at Mizpah Methodist Church in Walkerton, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mizpah Methodist Church or Walkerton Fire Department.

Dear Stone Family
I just found out of the passing of Mildred Stone. I have the joy of caring for Mildred for almost 4 1/2 years and enjoyed every moment of it. I know that she will be missed by all, she was one great lady and I will miss her too. God be with you all in this time of sorrow.....
