Mildred was a long-time member of Layton Ave Baptist Church in Greenfield where she was very active in the church including teaching Sunday School. She enjoyed decorating the common areas of the Meadowbrook Manor Condominium where she lived as well as doing Calligraphy, scrap booking, and shopping. After retiring from driving school bus for over 20 years she enjoyed going to the casinos and taking trips with her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Lynn Somers (nee Szmurlo), parents Samuel and Mary Dale, sisters Beulah Tote, Nancy McBride, and brother Allen Dale. She is survived by her grandson, Zen Brandner,, and many nieces and nephews. Recently decease is her brother Jerry Dale February 28, 2023..
Visitation is Friday March 10, 2023 at Layton Ave Baptist Church, 9600 West Layton Ave, Greenfield, WI from 11AM to Noon with service to follow.
