It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mildred Estalene Warren, "Maw Maw", born on December 15, 1946, in Grapevine, TX. Estalene left us to be with her loved ones on September 8, 2025, at the age of 78. She made her home in Bonham, TX, and became a cherished part of the community.
Estalene dedicated 25 years to her work at Kraft Foods and also served as the manager of the Lake Hawkins RV Park, where she created countless memories for families and friends alike. A proud member of the Cowboy Church, she cherished her faith, her family, and the simple joys of life, whether it was camping with her grandkids, enjoying the thrill of car races, or gathering with loved ones.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John Charles Warren, and two daughters, Sherri Frith (Bruce) and Terry Dyess. Estalene will also be remembered by her brother, Ronald Jeffus, her grandchildren - John Bradley Thomas (Macalla), Chad Thomas (Tara), Clayton Thomas (Ashley), and Willie Thomas (Tiffany) - as well as 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren who all brought her immense joy.
Estalene is preceded in death by her son, Richard "Ricky" Lee Allen, her parents, Thrian Ovda Jeffus, Eula Mae and Alan Arthur, and brothers Ricky Joe Jeffus and Loyd Jeffus. Her grandson, Tommy Lee Moorehead III, and great-grandchildren Lynnlee Faith Moorehead and Tommy Lee Moorehead IV also welcomed her into eternal rest, along with her father-in-law Charles Warren; niece Cheryl Warren; and brother-in-law Randy Warren; son-in-law's, Tommy Lee Moorehead Jr. and Buddy Dyess.
Funeral services will be held in Estalene's honor, on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1PM with a visitation starting an hour prior in the chapel of Croley Funeral Home, Hawkins, TX. Interment to follow at Hawkins City Cemetery in Hawkins, TX.
Estalene's indomitable spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She was a force of love, laughter, and kindness, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
