SEVERN, MD Milena Helen Galeotti, age 95, of Severn, Maryland passed away on Saturday, Nov, 6, 2021. Milena was born September 27, 1926, to her parents, Attilo and Adele Papi in Arcevia , Provincia Ancona, Italy. Milena came to the United States at the age of two and resided in the Hamilton Township area until June of 2020. At the time of her passing, she was a resident of Severn, Maryland. Milena was educated in the Hamilton Township school system and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1944. She worked for General Motors Corporation, Thomas C. Auld & Co. Insurance Agency, Sterling Drugs (Bayer Aspirin) and the New Jersey Department of Higher Education from which she retired in 1989. She also worked for the New Jersey board of elections for a number of years. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish of Mercerville and a member of the Hamilton Township Senior Center. Milena was the beloved wife of the late, Amelio B. Galeotti; the devoted mother of, James Galeotti and his wife, Emma; dear sister of, Dario Papi and his wife, Peggy of Newcastle, PA, the late, Jerry Papi and Jenny Madel and her husband, Frank; as well as several nephews and great-nephews and great-nieces. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a Catholic Prayer Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hamilton.
