Born January 18, 1979, in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Preston "Wade" Wootten and the late Margaret (Hettinger) Walls. Her stepmother, Marilyn Wootten, survives.
Millie had a natural gift for creativity-whether she was crafting, coloring, or simply imagining-she had a way of bringing beauty into the world. She loved getting lost in a good book and could always be found with music playing in the background-sometimes singing along, sometimes just letting the lyrics speak for her.
Also surviving with her stepmother are five children: Patrick, Braxton, Breanna, Mackenzie, and Haven; her sisters, Maggie Michael (Billy Smith) and Amanda Sill; her niece, Domynique Burrage, and son; her nephew, Joseph Burrage and son; her aunt, Mary (John) Centers; her uncle, Danny Wootten; and several cousins-including Natasha (Elgin) Ingle, who was more like a sister than a cousin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Lil' Rey Burrage; and one stepsister, Kim.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
