John P. Clark, 74, of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Aperion Care in Peru, Indiana.
John was born March 8, 1951, in Logansport to the late Richard and Virginia (Farrer) Clark.
John graduated from Logansport High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Following his service to our country, John worked at GTE/Verizon for over forty years.
On August 15, 1991, in Gatlinburg, TN, he was married to Debra (Bailey) Clark, who survives in Logansport.
John enjoyed wood carving birds and fish and was a proud member of the Eastern Woodland Carving Club.
He was also a USAC National Champion and spent many Saturday nights racing at US 24 Speedway.
Along with his wife, John is survived by his children, Kyle (Jamey) Clark, and Jason Thompson; and his grandchildren; Morgan Pherson, Logan Thompson, Lydia Clark, and Lyla Clark.
He was preceded in death by a son Adrian Clark, and a daughter Jamie Thompson.
In keeping with John's wishes, no services will be held.
