Ms. Millie Fallon, age 76, of Soperton, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones following a brief illness. She was a native of Miami, Florida and spent most of her life there before moving to Soperton in 2006. Millie was a banker by trade. Her career in banking spanned from Senior Vice President at Barnett Bank, Vice President at Colonial Bank, Management Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank and Bookkeeping at Mt. Vernon Bank. She was a devoted follower of Christ, lived a life rich in service to the Lord, freely sharing the gospel and her faith so that others would come to know the Lord as well. She was a member of Calvary on Aimwell and served as their Financial Secretary for many years and a proud member of the Vidalia Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-four years, Eddie; her parents, Leon and Earnestine Phillips; two sisters, Geneva Van Fleet and JoAnn Phillips; and precious friend, Martha Valle-Lopez.

Millie is survived by two sisters, Norma McKuhen and Sharon Arlene Mayer and husband, Barry all of Soperton; nephews and nieces; Ruthie, Kimmy, Roger, Alan, and Leona; goddaughter, Natalie Register and husband, Jerome of Ailey and their children, Elizabeth, Ava, and Jackson; and a multitude of treasured family and friends.

As Millie would always say, "Lord Bless You."

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wilkes Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Shiver and Pastor Keith Horton officiating. The burial will follow at the Phillips Family Cemetery in Soperton.

The arrangements have been entrusted to Wilkes Funeral Home of Vidalia.
