Mildred "Millie" M. Hammond, 85, of Plainfield, passed away on May 1, 2025. She was born on January 22, 1940 in St. Paul, Kansas to the late Howard Warren and Minnie Augusta (Coose) Warren. Millie worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS for 38 years before retiring in 2012. She loved to travel, gardening, tending to flowers and was a devote attendee at bible study. However, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the most. Millie is preceded in death by her son, Robert Hammond; brother, J.R. Warren; sisters, Connie Farrell and Dorothy Wittorf. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, IN 46168) beginning at 11:30 a.m., where family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow to Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Stan) Wininger and Kim (Wayne) Rigdon; sister-in-law, Marge Warren; brother-in-law, Ivan Farrell; 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
