Milton Pruett Harrison passed away January 6, 2025 at the age of 85. He was born August 5, 1939 to the late Arnold Averett Harrison and Mittie Pruett Harrison.

He was preceded in death in death by his brother, Harold Arnold Harrison.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Harrison; mother of his children, Johnnie Harrison; sons, Alan (Kristi) Harrison, Scott (Wanda) Harrison and Shane (Deborah) Harrison; grandchildren, Jakob (Larissa) Harrison, Kaileigh (Gabe) Hanks, Alaina Harrison, Alex (Mary) Harrison, Olivia Harrison, Seth Harrison, Emma Harrison and Will Harrison; great-grandchildren, Jason Harrison, Madalyn Harrison, Parker Dennis and Brooks Harrison; brothers, David (Debbie) Harrison and James (Jackie) Harrison; sister-in-law, Audrey Harrison.

Milton was an outstanding athlete in all sports. He played at Dallas County High School and Livingston University. He coached youth city baseball, football and basketball for ten years in Selma. He was a very loving and caring person, who was loved by many.

Milton retired from Alabama Power Company and was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Apple, Alabama.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Gunter officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m., prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Alex Harrison, Jakob Harrison, Will Harrison, Seth Harrison, Shane Harrison and Alan Harrison. Honorary pallbearer will be Sol Tepper.
