Milton Harold Pulliam, aged 89, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on June 21, 1936, in Ellisville, Mississippi, Milton lived a life filled with hard work and dedication. He attended Business College and went on to have a diverse career, working at Knox Glass for many years, Trailways Bus Station, and later at Amfax Piping and Supply.
Milton was well-known for his friendly nature. He never met a stranger and made friends with everyone he encountered. He was also a proud member of the Masonic lodge, reflecting his commitment to community and fellowship.
Milton is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Elizabeth "Betsy" Nazary Pulliam; his son, Gregory Harold Pulliam (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Gregory Scott Pulliam (Amanda), Jake Pulliam, and Nick Barnes (Madison). He cherished his role as a great-grandfather to Brody Scott Pulliam, Allie Grace Pulliam, Easton Beck Barnes, Maeva Catherine Barnes, and Cooper Dane Nunley.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Max Pulliam; his parents, Charles Elza "Blue" Pulliam and Clyteal Frances Murphy Pulliam; and his brothers, Elza "Shorty" Pulliam, James A. "Buddy" Pulliam, and Charles Pulliam.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM, also at Ott & Lee Funeral Home. Milton will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, Mississippi, following the service.
Milton Harold Pulliam will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for his family, and the many friendships he forged throughout his life.
