Milton T. Walzer, age 95, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on September 27, 2025. He was born on October 7, 1929, in Bronx, New York, to Benjamin and Fannie Walzer, the youngest of three children. After graduating from The Bronx High School of Science and later earning a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Baruch College, Milton received a commission in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant. Stationed first in Japan and later deployed to Korea with the 45th Infantry Division, he was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor for rescuing and providing aid to fellow wounded soldiers during a fierce Chinese attack. He returned home to a promotion to Captain and company commander. Following his military service, Milton became a tax auditor for New York State and later entered private business with his father-in-law and brother-in-law after marrying Virginia Urish. Milton and Virginia raised their family first in Forest Hills, then Orangeburg, and later Tappan, NY. He was active in his community as a founding member of the local synagogue, a board member of the town library, Commander of the local Jewish War Veterans post, and a Major in the New York State Guard. In retirement, Milton and Virginia moved to The Grove in Boynton Beach, FL, where he enjoyed volunteering at the Morikami Museum and Gardens and with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Patrol. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Virginia (Urish) Walzer; his children, Evelyn Walzer and Andrew Walzer; his parents, Benjamin and Fannie Walzer; his brother, Arthur Walzer; and his sister, Muriel Cohen. Milton is survived by his son, Robert Walzer (Barbie), daughter Susan Sengstock (Gregg), and his grandchildren, Melissa Walzer-Tan (Roger), Benjamin Walzer (Janie), Lauren Walzer (Andrew), Arielle Schulman (Matt), Romina Colombo, Joshua Rowe-Heupler (Mariel), Samwise Rowe, Ryan Rowe, Thomas Bossert, and Haley Bolton (Jamie); his great-grandchildren, Amelia, Madeline, Erik, Daphne, Aaron, Julian, Max, Owen, Ella, Logan, Micah, and Sadie; and his sister-in-law, Helen Walzer.
