Minerva Peters Obituary
She was born November 19, 1912 in Knowlesville New Brunswick Canada the daughter of William and Ida Mae (Hallet) Boyle, and came to Maine at two months old. She was a widow of the late George Graham and Leo Peters.
Minerva was a member of the Smyrna Mills United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Woman’s Club, Oakfield Grange, Pomona Grange, R.S.V.P., Oakfield Senior Citizens. She lived her entire life in Smyrna.
She is survived by one daughter, Karyl Menzies of Bonita Springs FL; 2 grandchildren Laurie Crockett of Acton MA, and Robert Menzies of Naples Fl.; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call 2-3 and 6-8 Friday at Bowers Funeral Home 10 Water St. in Houlton where funeral Services will be held 11 am on Saturday with the Rev. Dan Blevin officiating.
Interment will be held in the Merrill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those who wish may donate to the Smyrna Mills United Methodist Church c/o Bowers Funeral Home PO Box 579 Houlton ME 04730. www.legacy.com
