Ms. Chunn, 92, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She lived most of her life in Neshoba County and was a member of Southside Methodist Church. She was manager of a convenience store for many years. Her hobbies were reading, traveling and cooking.
She is preceded in death by Herman L. Chunn, the father of her children; second husband, Wayne Thompson; parents, Everett Bruce and Ludie Roebuck Jones; sister, Evie Jewell Dunn.
Survivors include daughters, Marty Gooding (Richard) of VA, Jeanette Carrizales (Johnny) of TX, Cindy Gainey (Joe) of TX; son, Buddy Chunn (Leah Arcuri) of FL; sister, Joye Gentry of Louisville; (6) grandchildren; (10) great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Micheal Carrizales, Joe Gainey, Brian Tyre, Eugene Dunn, Josh Wright, Jeremy Wright.
Honorary Pallbearer is Dale Conn.
