Minnie Curley

The life of Mrs. Minnie Mae Curley began November 8, 1928 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born to Willie and Pinkie Fields, along with her sisters and brothers, Dauthula, Pinkie Bell, Marcellean, Marecella, James, Lotrice and Mark. She was united in marriage to RC Curley October 13, 1949. She was a very loving and caring mother to their children, Jannie, Bobby, Brenda, RC Jr., Mark, Danny, Jennifer and Patsy, whom she was very close with and enjoyed spending holidays and visits with every chance she could.

She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and was certainly one of her favorite pastimes when she wasn't in Blackhawk, antique shopping, gardening, watching westerns, her stories or her favorite movie Rush Hour, adding to her home decor or fishing. She owned and operated her home childcare for many, many years. The families loved her so much they continued to visit long after they parted from her care.

"Take care of each other" was a final wish expressed often as she wanted her family to be just that, a unit caring for one another. Her family was her greatest joy and had an unwavering love for all of us. She left this world to be with the Lord on September 10, 2025, leaving to cherish her memory, her brother, Mark Fields Sr., Fort Worth TX, Jannie Walker, Grand Prairie, TX, Bobby N. Curley, Aurora, CO, Brenda (Gene) Canady, RC (Lue Dora) Curley, Dallas, TX, Mark (Tyetisha) Curley, Englewood, CO, Danny (Charisse) Curley, and Jennifer Curley, Denver CO. She also leaves a host of grandchildren.

She is loved dearly and will truly be in our hearts and thoughts forever.
