Minnie Christine Letner, age 85, of Union County, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. J. A. Letner; parents, Vator and Ella Thomas; sister, Judy Woods; brothers, Johnny and Hubert Thomas; daughter, Carla Ann Letner; grandson, Nick Elmore; and great-grandson, Tyler Beeler, USMC. She is survived by her son, James Edward Letner; daughters, Ella Mae Parham (Darrell) and Anna Marie Letner; grandchildren, Christina Monday, April Elmore, Tiffany Ward (Joshua), Harley Martin (Kysha), Bridget Gonzãlez (Benjamin), Nikki Lackey (Justin), Adam Clabough (Amy), Mark Clabough, Jonathan Letner, and Samuel Letner; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Victoria, Haley, Isabella, Landon, Amelia, Lorelai, Ava, Cooper, Greyson, Brooklyn, Bailey, and Walter; sister, Anna Ruth Jones; and special friends, Millie, Nelson, and Zuleyka. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Broadway, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jared Graves officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with the funeral procession departing for Greenwood Cemetery at 12:30 PM for a 1:00 PM graveside service. Active pallbearers will be James Letner, Jonathan Letner, Samuel Letner, Harley Martin, Adam Clabough, and Mark Clabough. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Ward and Justin Lackey. Rose Funeral & Cremation – Broadway is honored to serve the Letner family.
