Miriam Goodman Silver passed away peacefully at home in Bennington on February 9, 2026 at age 96. Miriam is survived by her two sons, David and Daniel Silver, both of Bennington. She is also survived by Amelia Wood Silver of Pownal, her granddaughters, Caroline Rebecca Myran (Joe Myran) of Cobleskill, N.Y. and Natalie Russell Silver (Dan Bak) of Moretown, Vermont, and grandsons, Alex and Michael Silver, great-granddaughters, Briana, Eloise and Willa Myran and nephews, David Goodman and Michael Goodman (Leeann Neals). She was pre-deceased by her husband Kenneth Silver and brother Marvin Goodman. Shivah will be held at 1 Catamount Lane, Bennington from Sunday 2/15 through Tuesday 2/17, calling hours are from 12-6.
