Miroslaw "Mirek" "Mirek" Maciag

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Miroslaw Maciag, a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather whose warmth and presence will be dearly missed.

Miroslaw was the heart of his family. He shared a beautiful life with his cherished wife and closest companion, Monika, together building a home filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories. He was a proud and caring father to Lidia and Julita, and a devoted stepfather to Kasia, Ola, and Zuzia, instilling in them kindness, strength, and wisdom that will guide them throughout their lives. He was a loving uncle to Emilia and Liliana and a beloved brother to Barbara and Kazimierz, who will forever carry him in their hearts. Miroslaw was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Stanislaw, and his siblings Malgorzata, Jolanta, and Leslaw.

Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing that Mirek's love and light will live on in the stories we share, the traditions we honor, and the memories we hold close.

Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, N.J. 07424. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 216 Comly Rd., Lincoln Park, N.J. 07035. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Rd., Totowa, N.J. 07512. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be shared at gaitamh.com.
