Michelle Ann Devine (Ingraham)
Daughter of William Edward Ingraham and Elvira Maria Ingraham. Born July 12th 1963 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. A brave and strong woman lost her battle with ALS on January 15th 2025 in
Olympia, Wa., leaving this earthly world to be reunited with her loving and well missed parents who preceded her in death.
Mischell was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who wore many hats and enjoyed many hobbies. She was a self made business woman with a love for all things baking. Competing in many national baking competitions and starting her own bakery/catering business Devine Bites. Remembered by her family for her fiery red hair and her fiery spirit to match. Mischell loved sharing her talents and passing on her knowledge and a taste for confections to her children and grandchildren. She brought much joy to countless families with her artistic flair and flavorful creations that celebrated everything from birth announcements, graduations, office promotions and numerous first birthdays. For years to come many will look back on those memories and see her works as they reminisce on those major life milestones.
A graduate of South Kitsap High School class of 1981, Mischell went on to pursue degrees in construction management and carpentry apprenticeship through studies at Pierce college and Bates technical college respectively, matriculating in 2004. But through it all her love and passion for her baking remained, becoming her own certified commercial kitchen in the mid 2010's. She passed this attention to detail and taste for culinary treats on to her children and grandchildren with some following in her footsteps or serving by her side in her many catering endeavors.
Also an avid animal lover, Mischell opened up her home to many rescued pets throughout the years providing love and finding forever homes for fostered cats and dogs. Her personal favorites being her adorable French bulldogs Binx and Chewy, which she had the joy of mothering until her final days. A die hard beach goer, she never missed an opportunity for travel, with the beaches of Mexico being her second home and a place of peace for her. Basking in the sun, with her bare feet in the sand is where you could find her reflecting on life and looking towards the horizon and the next big things to come.
She enjoyed all of these things with the love and support of her family. Daughter Brittainy Rae Townsend and her three children Christainy, Kyndra and Aaiden. And daughter Haliegh Marie Devine and her daughter Nayvie.
Mischell took great joy in being a grandmother and welcomed her one and only great granddaughter Lilli Quinn Devine-Maniphoun into the fold in the fall of 2020.
Affectionately called Shelly as a child by her parents and 1 surviving brother William "Billy" Ingraham. When not baking or basking she could be found rooting for her beloved Seahawks as her father did before her or playing a game of softball one on of her many company teams. A soul that will be truly missed and gone too soon but definitely left an everlasting mark everywhere she went and a footprint along the way in the lives she touched through her time here on earth. We are sure she reached the gates with cupcakes in hand ready to cater the celebration of her life in heaven and lovingly greeting those that had gone before her while maintaining a watchful eye on those still here missing her. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family asks to please share your condolences and honor her memory by taking the opportunity to find something you enjoy that truly sweetens up your day and give kindness to our four legged furry friends who may need a loving family to call their own.
