Mr. Mitchell “Mickey” Taft, age 83 of Attalla, Alabama, died on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Riverview Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock pm Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the McRae Chapel with Seth Terrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Taft was born in Alabama on March 1, 1941, to Henry Grady & LouElla Lauderdale Taft.
Mr. Taft is survived by his Wife: Cherylene Taft. Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Angie Taft of Albertville, Michelle & Joe Millican of Albertville, Christy & Perry Steeley of Boaz, Stacie Burns of Boaz, Wendy Leatherwood of Boaz. Son: Sean Taft of Albertville. 11 Grandchildren. 8 Great Grandchildren. 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Brother: Howard Taft of Albertville. Sister: Kim Longstaff of Florida.
Pallbearers will be Perry Steeley, Kyle Walker, Logan Leatherwood, Eric Padgett, Seth Terrell, Dale Fielder.
Honorary Pallbearers: Wade Keeton, Steve Cooper, Benny Cain.
