Mogene Gray passed away on February 8, 2026, in Paragould, Arkansas. Born on March 19, 1933, in Mounds, Arkansas, she lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family and friends.

Mogene and her late husband, Tom, shared a remarkable journey together, celebrating 64 years of marriage before his passing. Together, they built a successful janitorial business that thrived for 30 years, retiring in 1991. Their commitment to serving others extended beyond their business; they also pastored a church in Plymouth, Michigan, for two decades, instilling faith and hope in those they encountered. Mogene was deeply passionate about her faith and dedicated many years attending The Apostolic Lighthouse Church, where she formed lasting bonds with her fellow congregants. She also attended Greater Vision Church. She was known for her warm spirit and her love for meeting people, often finding joy in gatherings with friends at the Senior Bees.

Mogene is preceded in death by her beloved husband Tom and her parents; Jess and Dora Jones, brothers; Noey, Cleve, Ray, and John, and sisters; Thelma, Elsie, Almeria, and Flora.

Mogene Gray's legacy of love and service will be honored during the visitation and funeral services held at Lighthouse Apostolic Church on February 13, 2026. The visitation is scheduled from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The church is located at 3008 Linwood Drive, Paragould, Arkansas.
