Mona Carron D'Ambra

72 of Cranston, was called home to the Lord Monday, September 1st, 2025. Originally born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne Marie Carron.

Mona was the beloved wife to Vincent D’Ambra for 45 wonderful years. She was also a devoted mother to her son Gian D’Ambra, his wife Gianna D’Ambra and soon to be grandchild.

She was the dear sister to Sheila Normandie, Shawn Carron and wife Jeannie Carron and the late Brian Carron and Anne Carron.

Mona attended Saint Michael’s Catholic School in Providence through middle school. Graduating from Cranston East High School class of 71’, Mona went on to have a 26 year long career as a medical secretary at Rhode Island Hospital.

Throughout her life, Mona loved being around friends and family, taking Sunday drives to Galilee with her husband, and reading her Bible and praying. She possessed a strong passion for smooth jazz music and had a unique ability to hear only a piece of a song and know the name/artist without hearing words. Mona loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed attending services & volunteering at Praise Tabernacle church in Cranston. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and the love she gave to those around her.

VISITING HOURS will be held on Sunday, September 7th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be private.
