Monica Klewer

Monica Inge Klewer, age 54, of Hudson, passed away on November 14, 2025. She was born on November 19, 1970, in Yonkers, New York.
Monica is survived by her husband, Ken Sanders; her children, Cassandra Klewer (Samuel Helsel) and Jasmine Sawicki; and her cherished grandchildren, Hunter Helsel and Aliviah Helsel. She is also survived by her special friend, James Clay. She was preceded in death by her father, Guenter Klewer; her ex-husband, Kevin Warner; and her cousin, Lyman Cole.
Monica lived life with joy, curiosity, and a generous heart. She was an avid collector, especially fond of anything related to NASCAR, as well as beer steins and bottle caps. A devoted NASCAR fan, she never missed the chance to attend the races at Michigan International Speedway.
She loved celebrating holidays and made sure her home was decorated for every occasion. Monica was also an amazing cook and baker, always trying to feed everyone around her and sharing her creations with family and friends. She was the life of the party: goofy, warm, and endlessly fun. She had a natural ability to make others smile, and she would do anything for anyone.
Above all, Monica adored her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she never missed an opportunity to brag about them.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
