I was one of the many who were touched by Monica when we worked together at NWS. She taught me how to always see the good in situations and in people, and to keep a positive outlook. I have tried to remember that to this day, and I have her to thank for it. I will remember her always. My heartfelt prayers go out to her children and family. I know she is with the Lord now.

To the Stokes Family:
I worked with Monica at NWS Yorktown. Monica was always a caring, loving, and giving person. She always had a way of making me smile even when I was down. If you had a problem - she was a good listener and had a way about her that made you forget your troubles. I will never forget her and the good times we had working together. She will be sadly missed!!!
I wish the best for her family and will keep them in my prayers.
My God Bless and keep you.

To Monica's Family, I was away when Monica passed but I thankfully got to go to the funeral services. It was very sad but I felt better knowing how many people loved her as I do. Monica and I worked together for 7 years at Weapons Station in Yorktown. I had the privilege of sharing a cubicle space with her and we became best friends. We went to the Bahamas together for a long weekend and talked and laughed about the trip for years to come. I spent some time with Monica during her brief illness and know that she was at peace with her condition. She made me laugh like no one could and I will miss her forever.I will talk to her in my prayers.

I worked with Monica in Yorktown. I remember her and the years we worked together.
I was saddened to hear of her passing at such a young age. Many times we don't
understand, but everything is in God's hands. IAlways remember John 14:1-3. "Do not let your
hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms
... I am going there to prepare a place for you...... I will come back and take you to be with me
that you also may be where I am."

Dear Eddie and Family:
It is such a pleasure to have this resource to tell you how saddened I am to hear to hear of Monica's untimely death. I will always remember the many conversations that we had in my tiny Assistant Principal's office. She was very, very proud of you Eddie and it was evident how much she loved her beautiful daughter and her namesake - her grandaughter.
I will keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts for peace and God's blessings. Please call if there is anything that I can do to assist you at this time. I am truly sorry that I did not know about the funeral plans in time to be there with you. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness in providing me with this opportunity to share my thoughts.
Sincerely,

I WAITED patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
May God continue to bless and keep you all.
