Monte R. Killough age 92 died peacefully on September 2, 2025. Monte was born April 15, 1933. They moved to Pasco, WA when Monte was 4 years old. He attended schools in Pasco and Highschool at Upper Columbia Academy. Monte married the love of his life Teresa Killough May 29, 1954. They spent the first few years of their marriage in Pasco. Monte and Teresa managed apartments and Monte worked construction. They later moved to Walla Walla, WA where Monte spent additional years in residential construction. Monte and Teresa spent the last portion of their careers together managing and operating a flooring business in Walla Walla Valley.

In retirement they moved near the Columbia River where the Walla Walla enters the Columbia. This placed them equal distance from where their girls reside. Monte is survived by his daughters Vera (Larry) Bohlman, Kocus Tobin and Lorali (Gary) Clouse, 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Dana Blackshire. Monte was proceeded in death by his wife Teresa Killough, his son Michael Killough and son in law Michael Tobin and sister Elizabeth Blackshire. There will be a graveside service on Sunday September 7th, 2025, at Mt. Hope Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Following the graveside service, friends are invited to join the family at the College Place Village Seventh day Adventist church in College Place for a time of sharing and refreshments with the family.
