Jean-Baptiste Monteus Jean-Louis, January 30, 1928 - February 20, 2025.
With profound sadness, the Jean-Louis family announces the passing of their beloved patriarch, Jean Baptiste Monteus Jean-Louis, on February 20, 2025. A man of great strength, wisdom, and devotion, Monteus leaves behind an enduring legacy of resilience, faith, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
Monteus Jean-Louis was a cherished father to his five children Dr. Eustache, Lydia, Elsie, Ketly and Milca, along with his eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is survived by a close-knit extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins and his church family. Monteus life was defined by his humility, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He will be remembered as a source of wisdom and guidance for all who were fortunate to know him.
Visiting hours on Friday February 28th 6-8 PM in Church of God Christian Life Center, 839 Washington Street, Dorchester.
Note Funeral is at a different location than the Visiting Hours.
Funeral on Saturday March 1st at 9:00 AM in First Haitian Baptist Church, 397 Blue Hill Avenue, Roxbury.
