Sally, my heart is broken for you, for your family. I want so badly to be able to take away your pain... for I know this load must be unbearable. Please please let the one who can bear it all for you take it. Let the Lord be your strength. I love you, I am so sorry for your loss. I will NEVER forget Lawsons bubbly, bouncy little skip in her walk as she would go by my desk... & contgious laugh is right, that is what I have been remembering and thinking about. Sally I will pray for you and your family, and I will have my church family praying. You will get through this, you are one of the strongest women I've ever known. Stand strong, but don't be afraid o break. I love you.

History Mystery Party 2004

July 12, 2011

I fondly recall Kelsey coming home in 2nd grade and telling me “I made friends with a new girl. She’s from outside California.” Thus was the auspicious start of a great bond between the Manesses and the Bayers and beyond. A bond that grew with water-ski and camping trips, house boating, Indian Princesses, History Mystery parties and the weekly gatherings of the Friday Night Families. Throughout all these activities, I affectionately recall Lawson’s fiery spirit, impeccable manners, quick wit, humorous facial expressions and that wry, mischievous smile. Even at such a young age, she was both an indomitable presence and a spot of sunshine. That bit of sunshine is gone too soon from this world and her loss to her family and friends is unbearable. All we can do is offer our love, support and prayers to Lawson’s loved ones and offer the thought that Lawson is in her final home now with Heaven’s rest, peace and love. But I also like to think that, true to her indomitable spirit, Lawson is flashing that wry smile at an angel or two.

Rest in peace Baby Lawson. You'll be missed.

Grief is a long and difficult journey but may peace be with your family. No one can comfort your soul as God can.

Lawson was a precious gift. Her ability to light up a room has left a remarkable impact on those who have known her. Take her memories and learn from them. She has been blessed with the power to help watch over you.

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

"I am leaving you with a gift -- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid." John 14:27

I'll never forget the fun loving Lawson who came into Paige's life during her years at St. Timothy's and Indian Princesses. We've never stopped thinking about your family since you left the bay area. We're so heartbroken for your family and Cooper still remember's the day of his birthday when Megan and Lawson came over for the unveiling of "Thomas the Tank" his Dad built for him. I have photos of the girls pushing him up and down our little street and will always cherish those memories and the fun times in Indian Princesses. Paige with her "red hair" will always be a constance reminder of what a beautiful young girl the bay area lost. Our prayers are with you. Sharon, Jeff, Paige and Cooper Vasek

I will always remember Lawson braiding her hair in the closing moments of my class. She would create silly hair dos that made us all laugh. Her laughter is one of the many things I will miss about her. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
