Obituary of Morgan Joanna Tomazine
Morgan Joanna Tomazine
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend, Morgan Joanna Tomazine, aged 24. Morgan left this world unexpectedly on March 5, 2024, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. She was a beacon of light, whose kindness and love touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Morgan was the epitome of warmth and compassion. Her infectious smile could brighten the darkest of days, and her presence could instantly lift spirits. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her radiant personality truly illuminated every room she entered.
In addition to her boundless love for others, Morgan had an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, finding solace, strength, and purpose in His teachings. Her relationship with Christ was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joyous and challenging times.
Music was another passion that resonated deeply with Morgan. Whether she was singing her favorite worship songs or Snoop Dog it was with a voice that stirred the soul, music was a source of joy and inspiration for her. Her love for music enriched her life and brought happiness to those around her.
Wilmington Christian School held a special place in Morgan's heart. It was more than a school; it was a community where she forged lifelong friendships, participated in memorable musical productions, and felt the profound impact of dedicated teachers who nurtured her growth and inspired her spirit and her relationship with God.
Through this tragedy, Morgan demonstrated her selfless love by donating her organs, saving the lives of seven individuals. Even in death, her kindness and compassion continue to touch lives and bring hope to others.
Left to cherish her memory are her grieving family members: her loving father, Frank Tomazine; with whom she shared a deep bond, finding solace and guidance in his wisdom and warmth. He will miss their sunset walks together; her devoted mother, Karen Tomazine, who was not only her mother but also her closest confidante and dearest friend, with whom she shared countless memories and moments of laughter and understanding. Her cherished brother, Brendan Tomazine, who was not just a sibling but also her lifelong companion, sharing in adventures and dreams; her future sister-in-law, Lucy Catts, with whom she had begun to build a bond of sisterhood. Her fiancé, Keith Wiercinski, whose love was the center of her world; and her beloved future in-laws, Michael and Kelli Wiercinski who loved her as their own.
Morgan is also survived by her grandparents, George and Janet Johnson, whose love and support she cherished throughout her life. And a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who shared in her love and laughter.
Morgan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Cecelia Tomazine.
She also leaves behind her beloved dog Max.
Morgan will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Though her time with us was far too brief, her legacy of love, faith in Jesus Christ, and music will endure forever in our hearts.
Morgan's visitation will be held on March 14, 2024, from 11 am until the funeral service at 12 pm, at Cornerstone Church at 101 Cornerstone Church PI, Davenport, FL 33897.
There will also be a celebration of life in Morgan's honor at Wilmington Christian School in Hockessin Delaware on March 24 at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Susan Perkins Fund At Our Legacy (Our Legacy Organ and Tissue Donation Organization) AdventHealth.com or Down Syndrome Association of Delaware, in Morgan's name, both causes close to her heart.
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace, and may we find solace in the cherished memories she leaves behind.
With heavy hearts,
The Tomazine Family
