Morris Hugger Jr.

Morris Hugger Jr., age 55, passed away on December 20, 2024. Born October 27, 1969, he was the beloved son of Catherine Hunter and stepson to the late Charles Robinson.
A graduate from high school in Chicago, Illinois, where he was born, he lived his life with love and compassion. He had a deep love for fishing, camping and eating! He enjoyed the serenity of the outdoors and could often be found fishing with his best friend Rick or camping with his family.
Morris was preceded in death by his mother Catherine; his significant other of over 30 years, Janelle Pratte and his brother Percy Robinson. He is survived by his sisters Twila Hugger; Taleshia Robinson; brother Dominick Washington and his cousins, who were like siblings to him, Crystal AKA "Pookie" and Nathaniel AKA "Nate". He is also survived by his stepdaughter Stacy; his stepson Nick (Megan); and his cherished grandchildren: Brandon Maresh (Stephanie), Brice Maresh, Kristopher Maresh (Lacey), Ethan Pratte (Alexis), Gavin Pratte, Kiley Pratte, and Laylah Waggoner. He also departs this world with two great grandchildren, Milo Maresh and Walker Pratte, along with many other beloved family members.
Morris was a laid back, spirited, calm person and touched everyone he came in contact with. He made friends wherever he was and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
