Morris V. Timmreck - loving husband, father and grandfather - Born May 23, 1949 passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on February 7, 2025 after a long battle with several health complications.

Morris was a hard working man. He spent 25 years in shipping and receiving, at the Defense Depot in Ogden. After which he begun his truck driving career at Carpenter Paper Company in North Salt Lake, where he retired in 2015 but not before meeting the love of his life Michelle, whom he married on October 15th, 2004. Upon retirement they moved to Texas, where they spent several wonderful years going to the beach, exploring new places, visiting family nearby, making new friends and creating memories that the Michelle and Morris would always cherish. They moved back to Utah in 2019 due to medical complications and to be near family. Morris and Michelle just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this past year.

His family was his world and meant everything to him. Even while fighting his health battles and could no longer show up to every activity he made sure that they all knew he supported them and spent all the time with them he could. Morris enjoyed spending countless hours telling stories, reading books, and playing games. He attended as many of his grandkids activities as he could from Brayden’s drumline competitions, to Tavis’ baseball games and nearly all of Aspyn’s dance recitals, not to mention countless baseball games. His gifted grandkids kept him busy with many different activities, sports and competitions, all of which he enjoyed tremendously and made him the proudest grandpa in the crowd. If one thing could be said about Morris, it is that his grandchildren were his world and he wanted to be there for every moment, game, graduation and milestone he could.

Morris had a love for football. He was an avid Utah Utes and Kansas City Chiefs football fan. Him and his furry best friend Charlie Brown would spend most weekends watching their favorite teams together. Morris and Charlie Brown spent their days together going on walks, playing together and just enjoying one another’s company. Charlie Brown is truly going to miss his best friend.

Morris leaves behind his wife Michelle Timmreck, daughters Jennie (Scott) Moran and Jenny Danner (Jon Odekirk). Sons Wayne Timmreck and Jason France. Grandchildren Braeden and Carter Moran, Brayden France (Brooke), Tavis and Aspyn Danner.

Morris is proceeded in death by his father Robert Timmreck, Mother June Mummford Timmreck, sister Mollie Collins, daughter in law Jamie France and his furry buddies Keisha and Ace.

Special thanks to University of Utah Hospital staff for all of the amazing care and efforts given to Morris and the support given to his family during these hard times.

Morris will truly be missed by all his family and friends. Rest in peace. We all love you and will see you again.

A family and friend viewing will be held on Wednesday,  February 12, 2025 from 6-8 pm at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. There will be no formal services, but the family encourages friends and family to celebrate the life of their loved one in their own way.
