Mose R. Yoder, age 42 of Holton, Michigan, died on Monday, July 24, 2023 from a tragic construction accident in Clayton, Michigan. He was born on December 25, 1980 in Marshfield, Missouri to Ruben D. & Mary W. Yoder, and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Mose married Sarah A. Miller on July 3, 2013 and she survives him along with children Geneva Kay (Nov. 6, 2014), Merlin Wayne (Feb. 7, 2016), Thomas Eric (May 3, 2018), Doris Renae (Sept. 7, 2020); parents, Ruben & Mary (Yoder) Yoder of Hillsboro, WI; siblings: Samuel & Freda (Hershberger) of Steelville, MO, Elizabeth & David Beachy of Hillsboro, WI, Amanda & Daniel Mast of New York Mills, MN, Jerry & Hannah (Hershberger) of Evart, MI, Clara & Steven Schwartz of McIntosh, MN, Jonas & Lydia (Yoder) of Steelville, MO, Steven & Esther (Mishler) of Marion, MI, Isaac of Lyndon Station, WI, Rachel of Evart, MI, Simon & Katie (Lambright) of East Burnstadt, KY, Levi & Lydia (Mazelin) of LaFarge, WI, Esther of Pearisburg, VA, Toby & Ruth (Diener) of McBain, MI, Mark & Wilma (Yoder) of Hillsboro, WI; 30 nieces, 33 nephews, & 1 great-niece. He is also survived by Sarah's parents, Andy & Katie Ann Miller of Holton, MI; and by Sarah's 8 siblings and their families. Mose was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, 2 nieces, & 1 nephew. The Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Amos Troyer Residence, 8901 S. 184th Avenue, Holton, MI 49425 with Bishop Eli Beechy officiating. Interment will be in the Fremont Amish Cemetery. Visitation will also be at the Amos Troyer Residence from 2-5 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday. You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.
