My deepest condolences to the family of Moses. I just found out about his passing today, as I had tried to call him several times. He was my husband's, Darnell, older brother. We visited him many times over the last several years, often spending the weekend with him and Willie. They were always very good to me and became my brothers as well. There are so many wonderful memories that I have of Moses. First, he always had time and space for us and made us feel right at home. I cooked for all of us many times, but Moses always enjoyed treating us to his favorite restaurant, MCL. We watched cowboy movies and football together, and had long talks about God, church, family, military life, and how blessed he felt. Most of all, I remember how much he loved my husband, and how he accepted me as a sister. And I will never forget that he not only walked me down the isle, but was the best man at our wedding. Both Moses and my husband suffered from PTSD. He shared so many of his fears, memories, and reflections about his life and times with me that I was always grateful and will always treasure those memories. Moses was never short on expressing the love, pride, and joy that he had for his parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Also, his love for God. Peace and Blessings to all his loved ones. He will always be missed! In loving memory, Jo Cunningham
