Visiting at Israelite Baptist Church in Lutcher, on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until Religious Services at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev, Kevin Fredricks. Burial willl be in private.
Survived by his wife, Wanda Hubbard Batiste. Son, Reginald B. Batiste, Jr. Step-son, Germaine Hubbard, Jr.. A sister, Annette Houston. Brothers, Donald (Roxie) Batiste, and Dale (Jowana) Batiste. Sisters-in-law, Joyce Smith, Wintress (Lee Charles) Delmore and Lisa (Dwayne) Riley. Brother-in-law, John (Penny) Hubbard. Three grandchildren, Darryl Smith, III, Germaine, Jr. and Jayden Hubbard. Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Walsh Batiste, Jr. and Dorothy Ezidore Batiste. Step-daughter, Carolyn Hubbard Smith. and husband, Derryl Smith, Jr. Sisters, Delores Chandler, Brenda Placide and Joyce Gardner. Brothers, Thomas and Edward Batiste. His brothers-in-law, James Hubbard, Jr. and Jimmy Smith, Sr.
