Mozell Lewis

Mozell Lewis was born January 09,1959 to the late James Washington Sr & Mary Barnes in Port Lavaca, TX. On June 16,2025, this Earthly angel gained her heavenly wings.
Mozell received Christ at an early age, attending St Paul Baptist church, and Enlightenment Chapel Ministries in Victoria, TX as a young adult, then moved to Corpus Christi Tx, where she she attended various churches until she found and became a member of Apostolic Church of the Living God. Mozell loved the word of God, She began working in the church and spreading the word of God.
Mozell worked for the Corpus Christi Independent School District for twenty four years as a special education teacher in her career, Coastal Plains Mental Health Center as a partner case worker, a behavioral health specialist at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center, and lastly the Nueces County Adult Probation as a community supervision officer.
Mozell received her General Educational Development in April 1999. She received her Associate of Arts in Human Service in 2015, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2018, and a Master of Science in Psychology, all from the University of Phoenix.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Moses and Eliza Lewis, brother Carl Wady, sisters Linda Goodson, Hazel Washington, Jancice Campbell, and Barbara Campbell. Cousins Marvin Lewis, and Johnny Lewis, and nephew Brandon Lewis.
Our heavenly angel leaves to cherish her memories: Her church family, and a host of other relatives and friends. Three daughters Mary (Alan) Oriza, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Cierra (Juaquin) Winn, & Joyce Tomlinson, of Corpus Christi, TX; four Sons: Jose Mirelez-Lewis, Jahree Tomlinson, Devaughn Miller, & Ladale Tomlinson Of Corpus Christi, TX 14 Grand Children: Mario, Meagan, Rodney Jr & Rodell of Lehigh Acres, Fl ; Princeton, Avery, Legaci, Uh'Jaycia, Symphani, Geramyah, Athena, Jaz'Mariah, Zariah & Legend Corpus Christi, TX.
