Mrs. Vickie Mulling Lawrence, age 67, of Locust Grove, GA, died Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital, Griffin, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence will be held Sunday, March 2, at 2:00 PM, at Yatesville Methodist Church. Rev. Dean Hemphill will officiate, and interment will be at the Hammock Family Cemetery in Locust Grove at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Lawrence was born in Upson County on March 26, 1957, to Bobbie Hanson Mulling and the late Thomas J. "T.J." Mulling. She attended school in Yatesville and was a 1975 graduate of Upson High School. She was co-owner of Mulling Grocery in Yatesville. She attended Yatesville Methodist Church. Mrs. Lawrence loved animals, especially her fur baby, Maven.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald P. Lawrence, and a step son, Chuck Lawrence. She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Hanson Mulling; a step daughter, Chase (Jessan) Hager; a step daughter-in-law, Alice Lawrence; three brothers: David Mulling, Donald (Kay) Mulling, and Vance (Deborah) Mulling; and three step grandchildren: Palmer Lawrence, Jessa Hager, and McCullough Hager; and her caregiver, who was like a sister, Kim Martin. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
