Elinor is survived by her Daughter, Brenda Derry; Son, Randy (Sheila) Carter; Grandchildren, Brett (Naomi) Marlow, Brandon (April) Derry, Jennifer (James) Derry Haynes, Jackie (T.J.) Cowan, Andrea Carter; Great-Grandchildren Josh Marlow, Jada Haynes, Jazmine Haynes, Norah Cowan, Miles Cowan, Bryce (Azera) Derry, Ava Derry, Hudson Derry, Savannah Marlow, Declan Marlow; Several Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Elinor was preceded in death by her Father, Sidney Smart; Mother, Bernice Smart; Husband, Joseph Carter; Siblings,Wendall Smart, Richard Smart, Don Smart, Jim Smart, Edmund Smart and Infant Sister; Great Granddaughter Auora Derry.
She worked in the retail shoe business, then drove a van for Wal-mart many years. She earned Best Driver of the year and many awards for safe driving. She has many trophies from bowling. She loved her family and friends, her flowers, and her home.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 10, 2025 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Outland Airport in the Private Dining Room. Memorials may be made in Murva's honor to the Lung and Heart Association.
