Mychail Ja'Quan Oglesby, 23, departed his earthly life on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 surrounded by his family and by his loved ones.
Born on September 28, 2001 to Michael "Patch" Ogelsby and Keisha Merritt. He joined Shiloh CME Church at an early age where he served as D.J. for the praise dance groups, Godz Girls and Boys to Men, for several years. He is a 2020 graduate of Hart County High School and was pursuing his passion in game design.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Michael "Patch" Oglesby and Keisha Merritt, siblings, Keyondrick Merritt of Hartwell Ga, Kiara Walker of Anderson SC, and Indiya Oglesby of Anderson SC, grandparents, Benjamin Merritt of Canon GA, Barbara (Bobby) Willingham of Hartwell GA, great grandparents, Ellis and Laura Sturghill of Hartwell GA and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mychail is preceded in death by his parental grandmother, Clerence "Coonie" Oglesby. Two Uncles, Greg and Mickey Oglesby and his maternal great-grandparents, Bronzia and Irene Merritt.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5:00-7:00pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Shiloh CME Church Cemetery.
