Myra's roots in Ville Platte ran deep as she spent her entire life there. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School where she not only received an education but also formed lasting friendships and nurtured her passion for learning.

Music played a significant role in Myra's life, especially her love for the iconic Rock Band, Pink Floyd. She wholeheartedly dedicated herself to sharing their music and messages by managing their fan page with unwavering enthusiasm. Alongside her musical interests, Myra was also an extremely talented artist who poured her soul into creating captivating paintings that will continue to inspire others. Her love for mystery novels provided her with an escape into thrilling worlds of intrigue and suspense. Myra also loved the sandy shores of Biloxi Beach in Mississippi, she found peace and joy in the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of the sun.

Myra’s pets held a special place in her heart; she adored the company of dogs and cats that filled her home with warmth and joy.

Myra will be deeply missed by her husband of 35 loving years, Kevin "Mitch" Roberie; her son, Payton Roberie, and his companion Samantha Primeaux; her sisters, Sandy Fontenot (Johnny) and Rebecca Fontenot (Jeff); as well as her nephews, Jesse Fontenot, Brock Fontenot, and Brett Fontenot.
