Myriam I. Ortiz

Myriam Ortiz also know to many especially her grandchildren as Mema. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 20,1958 and passed away on March 9, 2024.
Myriam was the daughter to the late Ana Diaz Clemente and Juan De Matta Ortiz, also the sister to the late Manuela Ortiz.
She leaves behind her 3 children Marcus, Mary Ann and Unique Campbell, as well as her 11 grandchildren Axaria, Christopher, David, Aiden, Sanyah, Vincent and Victoria Scott. grandson Mianjel Marcus Campbell and Naliyah, Yeya and Allen Wilkerson, whom she loved dearly.. A host of family and friends some are with us today and the ones who could not make it.
My grandmother was a devoted teacher and loved what she did, even the thousands of her other children she taught threw out her 30+ years of teaching. Always a helping hand to anyone in need and never questioning it for a second. Anyone who knew her loved her. I mean how could u not?
She was the best person in the world and we could not have asked for a better mother, grandmother, teacher, family member nor friend. Mryiam will be missed deeply, but most importantly now resting in peace alongside her mother, father, sister and friends.
