Myrlin Hubbard "Nanny" Green

Myrlin Hubbard Green "Nanny", age 89, of Centreville, AL passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Born in Brent, AL on August 15, 1935, to her late parents, Minor H. and Etta Mae Smith Hubbard. Nanny Said, she had done everything she wanted and had seen all of what she wanted to see. She did not want anyone to be sad over her. Nanny wanted all to remember her as having a smile on her face and encouraging words on her lips.
She is preceded in death by her loving spouse, Albert "AL" L. Green; grandson, Cannon Chase Murphy; sisters, Francis Arnold (Ben), Margie Elam (Thomas), Betty Horton, and Bill Hubbard (Joyce); nephews, Dale and Don Arnold, Trex Horton, Steve Hubbard. Her survivors are, daughter, Sherry Potter; grandsons, Forrest Murphy, Clint Murphy, Hunter Murphy (Amy), and 7 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jackie Horton.
Nanny Myrlin's wishes were to have a private service and memorial for her family on Saturday, September 28, 2024. She will be laid to rest in Bethel Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers please donate to St. Jude’s.
