Myrna G. Kluger

Myrna Kluger, age 75, died peacefully on September 28, 2022, following a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She is survived by her son, Bernhard, her daughter, Frieda, and three grandchildren.
Myrna's intelligence, kindness and spirit were an inspiration to many. Myrna was devoted to her family, friends, and community, sang in multiple choirs and taught people about everything from religion to mathematics.
As a realtor in Monmouth County, NJ for decades, she was always happy to help her colleagues. Also, she served as a volunteer EMT, as an ambulance driver, assisting on 1,000 emergency calls. Myrna earned a bachelor's degree in Physics from Northeastern University in the 1960s.
At a time when women were discouraged from studying science and technology, she completed a semester internship on a NASA simulator for the first moon landing and worked as a computer programmer after graduation. Myrna served in many leadership roles to help her local congregation.
She had a fondness for the Opera, Broadway, international travel, walking on the beach and Chinese food. She loved playing Scrabble, mahjong, canasta, bridge, and Words with Friends, participating in book clubs and going to the library and local senior center. She had great strength and warmth and enjoyed the company of many friends. Her friends and family were proud to know her. She accomplished so much and set an example for others to live up to. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and her many friends will endure.
