Myrna Lois Bell Murphy

Myrna Lois Bell Murphy of South Boston went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2025 at the age of 86. She was born in Newport News, VA on March 6, 1939 to the late Oscar Davis Bell and the late Lithol Odell Aliff Bell.

Myrna enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers and listening to Michael Jackson. She was an avid Elvis fan and had an extensive Elvis memorabilia collection. Her passing will leave a void to all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robin Bryant of Matthews, VA, Oscar Davis Bryant (Doreen) of Roanoke, VA, Donald Wayne Bryant of South Boston; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Myra Jean Krantz of Hampton.

She was preceded in death by her children, Edward Aaron Bryant, Sr, Robert Earl Murphy, Jr. and Jeanette Hester Murphy.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA
