Myron Ervin Krueger, age 75, was called to heaven on Friday, August 2, 2024 at his home in the Town of Union. Myron was born on April 21, 1949, son of Ervin and Eleanor (Schimke) Krueger. He graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1968. On June 4, 1977 he married Darlene Krueger and they were able to enjoy 47 years together.
Myron was a dedicated dairy farmer his whole life. He loved playing dart ball for his church - St. Paul Lutheran in Dupont, and enjoyed mowing his lawn and doing fieldwork. His lawn mower was his favorite form of transportation to check out all of his animals on the farm. He had so much joy watching his grandkids drive the tractors around the farm, working with their fair animals, and when they would bring back their deer, bears, rams, and turkeys that they would get during hunting season.
Myron was a big card player - his favorite game was 'Smear'. Myron's greatest joy was to go to the Symco Thresheree to watch his son pull all his antique tractors, and to join his family in celebrating at the annual 4th of July party hosted by his son, Jason and daughter-in-law, Kathy Jo.
Myron is survived by his wife Darlene of 47 years; sons: Jason (Kathy Jo) Krueger, Brian Krueger; daughter: Kristine Krueger; grandchildren: MaKenzie Jo (Branden) Krueger, Daisy (Kyle) Krueger, Brooke (Jayson) Krueger, Jadon Krueger, Payton Krueger; brother: Darrell (Peggy) Krueger; sister and brother-in-law: Joyce (Carl) Clarke. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ervin and Eleanor Krueger; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Roger Much; and his in-laws: Harriet (Butch) Calder.
A Memorial Service for Myron will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Town of Dupont, with Rev. Kelly Loken officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church on Saturday.
