Dodgeville – Myron D. "Mike" Reynolds, age 87, of Dodgeville, died on Monday, December 25, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.
Mike was born on December 13, 1936 in Monroe, a son of the late Harvey and Geneva (Otter) Reynolds. He graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1955 and then served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958 and was stationed in Germany.
On March 3, 1962, he married Ruth Martin at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He worked as a carpenter and bricklayer all his life. He loved hunting, fishing and golfing and the simple pleasures of life.
Mike is survived by his wife Ruth; his children Jeff "JR" (Cheryl) Reynolds, Steve Reynolds, Dennis (Michelle) Reynolds and Bruce Reynolds; his grandchildren Shane Reynolds, Tori (Charlie) Trace, Chelci (Luke) Schade, Tyrone Reynolds, Andrew Reynolds, Riley Reynolds and Ruby Reynolds; his great grandchildren Kylin, Hadlee, Remi, Violet and Ezmae Reynolds, Raven, Lark and Croy Trace, Jordan, Cali and Carter Schade and Izaya Reynolds; his siblings Delora (Jerry) Hall, Linda (Chuck) Reisen, Peg (Dick) Williams, Sam (Dianna) Reynolds, Phil (Lois) Reynolds and Tim (Sandy Berg) Reynolds; his brothers and sisters in-law Bob (Patti) Kane, Laurie (Harry) Hying, Jane (Tim) Marking, Rick Colbeck, Mike Martin and Robin Short; other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Pat, Ted and Mark, his sisters Mary Elliot and Theresa Hill, his brother-in-law Doug Martin, his mother-in-law and father-in-law Aldro and Rose Martin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023 at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Dodgeville. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the Dodgeville Area Veterans. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. on Friday at the church.
The family requests to please wear a mask (Due to illness in the family).
