Moody Funeral Services Inc - StuartIn loving memory of Samson J Reynolds, age 73 passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2025. Born on November 5,1951, he was the beloved son of the late Benjamin Reynolds and Nannie Kate Penn Reynolds. Samson was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife, that he affectionately called his “Queen”, Shirley Clark Reynolds; and his three children: Tracy Reynolds of Woodbridge,VA; Sabrina (Randall) Reynolds Pinkard of Pasadena, MD; Christopher (Ronnie) Reynolds of Alexandria, VA. He was a proud grandfather to his “Superstars”, Victoria Reynolds and Jezreel Reynolds, who brought great joy to his life. Samson is also survived by his siblings; Robert (Elsie) Reynolds of Collinsville, VA; Jennie Reynolds of Arlington, VA; Mary Randolph of Falls Church, VA; Jessie (Mae) Reynolds of Walus, TX; Wayne Reynolds of Arlington, VA; Kenneth Reynolds of Spencer, VA; and Kevin (Malissa) Reynolds of Patrick Springs, VA.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Franklin Reynolds, Inez Reynolds, Goldie Reynolds, Otis Reynolds, Jerricho Reynolds, and Michael Reynolds. Samson was a faithful member of Mt. Nebo Holiness Church where he worshipped, loved the Lord and served with dedication. Samson leaves behind a host of extended family members, church family and cherished friends who will remember his warm spirit, steady presence and unwavering love for those around him.
His homegoing will be celebrated and remembered with love, gratitude, and the countless memories he helped create on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Nebo Holiness Church 30598 Jeb Stuart Highway Spencer, Virginia 24165 with Rev. Leander Reynolds and Pastor Sammy Hagwood officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Nebo Holiness Church Cemetery 739 Trents Orchard Rd Patrick Springs, Virginia 24133.
