Gotham / Ridgeway – Donald W. "Donnie" Foster, age 47, of Gotham, formerly of Ridgeway, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 11, 2025 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Richland County.
Donnie was born on October 25, 1977 in Madison, a son of Greg and Joyce (Kitsemble) Foster. He graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1995. On October 1, 2005, he married Jen Larson at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Mazomanie.
Donnie worked as an Over the Road Trucker for most of his life, working for Fuchs, D & M Express, Lycon and most recently, Holcim.
Donnie liked riding motorcyles, fishing with his buddies and collecting Batman memorabilia. He was a real true friend. He would do anything for anybody. He was always there for the people he loved.
Donnie is survived by his daughter Jessa Foster; his step daughter Brianna Layton; his wife Jen Foster; his parents Greg and Joyce Foster; his twin brother Duane Foster; his brother Danny (Amy) Foster; his nieces Bailey and Brynn Foster; his mother-in-law Gail Larson; his beloved dog Eva; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Doug Foster, his aunts Judy Doescher and Janice Kitsemble, his grandparents Bill and Ruby Kitsemble and Ron and Blanche Foster.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at ST. BRIDGET'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Ridgeway. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville and from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.
