Myrtle "Twink" Ellen (Lippart) Cross, 78, passed away on May 16th, 2023, at Austinburg Rehabilitation Center in Austinburg, Ohio.
She was born on March 26th, 1945, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Lee and Madge (Smith) Grace.
Myrtle graduated from Shawnee High School. On October 24th, 1966, she married Floyd Cross, Sr., they celebrated forty-four years of wonderful marriage before Floyd's passing in October of 2011.
Myrtle was a proud homemaker who took great pride in maintaining a beautiful home for her and Floyd to raise their children. Later in life, she worked in the factory at Channel Products and also made and sold pieces from her woodworking hobby.
She was a dedicated member of the Pentecostal Community Church in New Lyme, Ohio. Myrtle enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Ashtabula Bowling League for many years.
Myrtle enjoyed woodworking, all sorts of craft projects and gardening but her most important role and the one that brought her the most joy and happiness was being a Mother.
She is survived by her loving children: Lorene (Denny) Abrahm, John Cross, Michael (Danielle) Cross, Christina Cross and Gloria (Kevin) Dean; her grandchildren: Kala (Curtis) Gray, Jesse Dean, Dakota (Apryl) Dean, John Cross, Jr., Shari Cross, Miranda Cross, Brandon Cross, Zane Cross, Katelyn Cross and Kristen (Kenny) Cutler; her great-grandchildren: Emma, Ada Lynn and Noah; her daughter-in-law, Wuanita Cross-Olsen and her siblings: Yvonne (Jim) Smith, Terry (Jennifer) Ketterman, Charles (April) Ketterman, Nate Ketterman and Albert "Lippy" Grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Cross, Sr., and her son, Floyd Cross, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, from 11:00a-1:00p with a funeral service to begin at 1:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49 West Jefferson Street in Jefferson, Ohio. Burial to immediately follow the funeral service at Cherry Valley Cemetery,
