Myrtle Gabriel Obituary
STEWART - Myrtle Evelyn England (Alkire, Gabriel) was at home in Stewart, OH and went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 27, 2025.
Myrtle was born June 3, 1944 in London, Ohio to Harold and Dorothy England. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife. She was a member of the Stewart United Methodist Church. Myrtle was an avid Bunko member for 36 years, founding her club as an original player.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Gabriel, daughter Christy Bradford, son Brian Alkire (Sharon), stepsons Bryan and Kevin Gabriel and family, grandchildren Brannon (Ashley) and Justin Alkire, Evan and Mikayla Bradford, great-grandchildren Ryder and Landon Alkire, sisters Genevieve Hatfield and Elsie Posey, in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her late husband Donald Alkire, son-in-law Todd Bradford, parents Harold and Dorothy England, sister Sue Stephens, brothers John, Jim, Shirel, and Sherman England, and many in-laws.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Jim Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in the Coolville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, from 12 P.M. until the time of the service.
