Sissy Eichelberger, from Cleveland, Texas, passed away, on August 12, 2025, leaving a life filled with love and laughter. Born on September 20, 1962, Sissy was the queen of her castle, who retired with the beloved title of “Pool lady”.
Her heart belonged to her grandchildren, the apples of her eye. She wasn’t just the best grandma, but the best friend to her daughter Tiffany. Her sense of humor and candid speech made her the heart of any gathering, earning her love, loyalty, and respect from anyone fortunate enough to know her.
Sissy loved the outdoors, especially fishing, she shared this love by teaching her kids and grandkids everything there is to know about rods, reels, and the best time to cast a line. She possessed a green thumb and could grow even the most temperamental plant in unfriendly East Texas weather.
Left behind to carry on her legacy are her mother, Elaine Hanna; her son, Daniel Porter, and his wife, Bethany; her daughter, Tiffany Munk, with her partner, Ricky Huffman; and her brother, Matthew Eichelberger. Her precious grandchildren: Bailey O’Bryan, Andrew Porter, Lindsey Porter, Kali Pedersen, Nola Munk, Nolan Huffman, Chambers Huffman, and Layla Huffman, along with a cast of loving relatives and a treasure trove of friends.
She was preceded in death by her bonus dads, known fondly as Papa John Hanna and Smitty. She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered for the joy she brought to so many.
A visitation in honor of Sissy's life, a visitation will be held at Neal Funeral Home located at 200 S. Washington Ave Cleveland, Texas, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
